The short version

Conflux is a layer-1 blockchain conceived in 2017 by Fan Long, incubated by Tsinghua University's 'Yao's Class' and described in 2020 as a government-approved public blockchain in China. The Conflux Foundation steers development. A mandatory v3.1.0 hard fork activated seven protocol changes by 25 Aug 2026, and since the Aug 2024 v2.4 fork part of every base fee is burned. On 31 Oct 2026 one CFX cost C$0.0650. From 31 Jul 2026 to 31 Oct 2026 its price changed +12.8% in Canadian dollars, and it was 97.0% below its all-time high of C$2.15 set on 26 Mar 2021.[1]
