In August 2025 OKX burned 278,999,999 OKB, fixed total supply at 21 million, removed the contract's mint and burn functions and made OKB the sole gas coin of its X Layer network. In Oct 2026 Circle, Ripple and SC Ventures invested in OKX at a US$25B valuation. On 31 Oct 2026 one OKB cost C$155.13.
