Lido DAOLDO
The governance token of Lido, the largest liquid-staking protocol for ETH.
The short version
Lido lets users stake ETH and receive stETH, and is the largest Ethereum liquid-staking protocol with US$21.8B deposited; LDO is its governance token. Lido's terms are governed by Cayman Islands law and name no company. A buyback programme called NEST went live on 10 Aug 2026 but had bought no LDO by late October, because it buys only when ETH is above about US$2,668. On 31 Oct 2026 one LDO cost C$0.4689. From 31 Jul 2026 to 31 Oct 2026 its price changed -3.1% in Canadian dollars, and it was 95.0% below its all-time high of C$9.43 set on 20 Aug 2021.[1]
