The short version

io.net runs a decentralized GPU cloud: independent data centres, crypto miners and individuals rent out graphics chips to AI developers, with jobs and payments coordinated on Solana. Founder Ahmad Shadid has stepped back and Gaurav Sharma is CEO. Since June 2026 the network burns at least half of the post-payout revenue it receives in IO, a model built on an US$8M enterprise contract. On 31 Oct 2026 one IO cost C$0.1912. From 31 Jul 2026 to 31 Oct 2026 its price changed +2.3% in Canadian dollars, and it was 97.8% below its all-time high of C$8.81 set on 12 Jun 2024.[1]
