The short version

FLR pays fees and is staked and delegated on Flare, an Ethereum-compatible blockchain with built-in data feeds and FAssets, which bring XRP onto the chain as FXRP. Flare Labs and the Flare Foundation develop it, led by CEO and co-founder Hugo Philion. A 2026 upgrade (FIP.16) cut yearly inflation from 5% to 3% and sends network fees to buybacks and burns. On 31 Oct 2026 one FLR cost C$0.00841. From 31 Jul 2026 to 31 Oct 2026 its price changed -4.3% in Canadian dollars, and it was 95.8% below its all-time high of C$0.2010 set on 9 Jan 2023.[1]
